Marleena Julius, LAC

Addiction Counselor & Supervisor of Family Concepts

Marleena Julius has earned a Bachelors of Science in Human Services, an Associates of Arts degree in General Psychology and has been a Licensed Addictions Counselor in the state of Montana since 2017.

In 2011, Marleena began to pursue a career in addiction counseling from her desire to help people live happy and successful lives; free from the cycles of addiction. Practicing a behavioral modification approach to therapy, she helps clients identify problem thinking and problem solving skills.

Additionally, Marleena is certified through Cincinnati Correctional Institute in Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Abuse and has been trained in de-escalation and criminogenic progression. Her experience working in a correctional facility setting helped Marleena understand the risk factors of substances and environmental factors on both recidivism and relapse.

She believes change is possible and that a good therapeutic alliance between the client and herself is essential for success.
