PARENT EDUCATION CLASSES The Nurturing Program will be the primary focus of the Parent Place this year. This research-based program is designed to promote a healthy relationship between babies, toddlers or pre-schoolers and their caregivers. A 24-week session will be available, free of charge to all parents or caregivers of young children. In June of each year, Home Start provides a great way to ease fears that parents or preschoolers may have about entering kindergarten. While parents are meeting with a teacher to discuss kindergarten readiness and expectations for their child, youth are becoming familiar with Eureka Elementary School, including the kindergarten classrooms.
